Dear Parishioner: 

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is a vibrant and growing parish blessed with many facilities to carry out the ministries of our Lord and to serve the parishioners under the spiritual direction of Father Vasile Bitere. We have a beautiful House of Worship and an ever improving Education and Cultural Center; changes and improvements abound.

The Holy Trinity Stewardship Program supports the Christian practice of regular giving of time, talent, and treasure to the Church as is vital to the success of our ministries. Stewards are encouraged to contribute their time and talents by volunteering in the numerous community and ministry programs that are supported by Holy Trinity. In addition, Parish families are also expected to pledge a proportion of their financial treasure toward the Church and its ministries by participating in the annual stewardship program. Your stewardship contributions help support the numerous ministries of Holy Trinity: 

• Religious Services, Sacraments and Counseling

• Sunday and Greek Schools

• Outreach Programs - to assist those in need

• Youth, Senior and Athletic Programs

• Religious, Cultural and Social Programs

• Maintenance, Repairs and Housekeeping

• Administrative Staff

• Church Information, Website, Publications, Mailings

• Archdiocese Ministries  

Your Stewardship commitment is kept in confidence. Jesus taught us that giving should be done quietly, generously and out of the sight of others. Our faithful rightly do not want to be told how much to give, however, guidelines are often helpful and requested. In order for the guideline to be fair and equitable, it must be personal and proportional to one’s means.

As a community, our goal is to reach 100% participation. Last year we had 130 pledge units with $933.84 average per year, $18.34 per week. In order for us to reach our goal, we should prayerfully consider increasing our participation and the average by list 10%. An average weekly giving of $34.00 and full membership participation would make our Stewardship Program a Great Success.

In making your decision, please keep in mind that the expenses of our Parish and the Church increase every year. In order to grow our ministries and meet our expenses, we are asking that you increase your annual commitment in 2009 or become a new Steward of Holy Trinity. With all of this in our mind and in our heart, please take a moment and fill out the 2009 Stewardship Commitment Card and return it to the Church Office. 

May the Holy Trinity continue to shine upon you everyday of your life, granting you many years of health, abundant gifts, and service to the Holy Church of God.
